Few hours after
a protest by suspected hired youths on Friday for the chairman of Etsako West
local government, Hassa Kadiri, to step down as the council boss due to ill
health, the ailing chairman passed away.
The youths were said to have stormed the secretariat with
placards and disrupted activities, saying the ill health of the late council
boss was slowing down development of the area.
