President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, Mrs. Saratu Altine Umar, with immediate effect. In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President approved the appointment of Mrs. Uju Aisha Hassan-Baba as Umar’s replacement.
No reason was given for the decision to sack Umar.
