Fans of Tuface & Wizkid draw battle lines online

It was a free-for-all opinion outbursts as fans of 2face and Wizkid draw battles on Twitter. A fan obviously stirred up controversy by declaring on Twitter that Wizkid was a bigger and more successful artiste than Tuface. Tweeting as @coonleigh, he had said, “Wizkid is the biggest out of Africa now. You can’t even pitch Tuface against him today.”

Shortly after this statement, fans of Tuface responded hotly. One after the other, the aggrieved fans sought to remind the man that an attempt to place Wizkid on the same level with Tuface was as good as insulting the latter.

 One Drakes_driver wondered why anyone would compare Tuface, whom he described as the first Nigerian to win an MTV award in Europe, with an ‘upstart’ like Wizkid.

 Railing at the pro-Wizkid fan for making the statement, another respondent, Omo Jeje, tweeted, “It is just so wrong to compare Wizkid to Tuface. That is the height of insult and disrespect for Tuface.”
