Nine-hour rainfall floods streets in UK

Let just say another effect of global warming.....
Parts of Britain have been battered by a month's rainfall in just nine hours as flooding hits the south of the UK.
Torrential rain and thunder and lightning struck from around 6am this morning as storm conditions hit in what should be the height of summer.
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the coming days with fierce showers expected to continue until the weekend.

Flooding has already hit parts of the south of England, especially the south coast, with footage showing surface water racing along the streets of Brighton.
