Russia plane crash, technical error or act of terrorism?

A Russian airliner carrying 224 passengers crashed into a mountainous area of Egypt's Sinai peninsula on Saturday shortly after losing radar contact near cruising altitude, killing all aboard.
Not long after the crash, A militant group affiliated to Islamic State in Egypt, Sinai Province, said in a statement it had brought down the plane "in response to Russian airstrikes that killed hundreds of Muslims on Syrian land".

Though Russia Government doubts this claim as investigations are still ongoing , but will this fatal crash change Putin's stand on Syria war? What if technical errors were ruled out, what then?
This is a matter that has grown beyond national security to world security concerns.
