It is no longer news that Zika virus causes baby deformation in pregnant women as seen in the picture above. The world is beginning to assimilate the threat of this new outbreak predominant in South America continent.
Presently, US has recorded cases of the deadly virus infection across the country but all travel related.
With the upcoming Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, sure people will travel from
all over the world to Brazil then become potentially exposed to the disease (A risk to take?). Of course, travel cases and mosquitoes may also spread the disease to Europe.
The WHO is calling on countries to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and
to make sure that people - particularly pregnant women - have
information on the potential harmful consequences of the disease..
