Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has banned a Yves Saint Laurent advert depicting a seemingly unhealthy underweight model with exposed rib bones and thighs almost the width of her legs. Recently, there are calls from concerned groups to ban the use of unhealthy underweight teens for adverts. It is a clear act of irresponsibility on the part of the advertisers.
Eating disorders are now a norm for these teen models and groups are praising ASA for banning related adverts using underweight models....
